The Rotary Club of Morehead City purchased materials and Rotarians provided a day of labor supervised by a licensed contractor to help replace the deteriorated porch deck at the Hope Mission Shelter for Women. The Rotary Club of Morehead City also purchased blood pressure monitors from a local pharmacy and gave them to the Broad Street Clinic for distribution to hypertensive patients in need.
Rotarians performed a litter sweep, April 17, 2021, along N 20th St. in Morehead City, and September 12, 2020, from Broad Creek Middle School to Nine Mile Road.
Rotary Year 2020 - 2021 Project
Dr. Steve Smith was flown to Ocracoke by Ken Lohr, pilot, to present a $3,000 check to Ocracoke Volunteer Fire Department to be distributed to needy children due to hurricane Dorian on September 6, 2019. The Rotary Club of Morehead City, N. C., had raised these funds by selling holiday wreaths and receiving donations. The Ocracoke Volunteer Fire department will distribute these funds to Ocracoke children so they may have a happier Christmas.

Sponsoring Balsam Range Fundraiser for Cutting Edge Alzheimer's Research
The Rotary Club of Morehead City has given more than $55,800 to the CART Fund to provide grants for cutting edge Alzheimer's disease research. These funds were from sponsors and gifts from the cancelled April 17, 2020, Balsam Range concert [cancelled due to Coronavirus (COVID-19)] and from sponsors, gifts, and attendees to Balsam Range concerts March 24, 2018, March 15, 2019, April 9, 2021, and April 29, 2022.
Profits from the Balsam Range Concert , April 29, 2022, were given to support Alzheimer’s research and these local non-profit organizations providing humanitarian services: Friends of Aging, Broad Street Clinic, and Crystal Coast Hospice House.
